Common Closet

OUR MISSION:

Affordable thrift & donations project at Yale reducing clothing waste

Common Closet is a thrift and donations project that provides an affordable clothing market to Yale students, reduces clothing waste on campus, and combats fast fashion.

To participate, consign or donate your clothes by simply dropping off a bag at your residential college donation bin. Clothes are published for sale on our website, and anyone can purchase them (FGLI discount of 30%). Sellers can choose a price or let us choose one for you and receive 70% of the price! If you want to donate, just label your bag accordingly and we will pass them on to our partner Loaves and Fishes to get them out those who need them in the New Haven community.
