To connect those experiencing homelessness with pre-existing resources across New Haven.
Project Homeless Connect, for a long time, organized resource fairs for members of the New Haven community experiencing homelessness. Today, PHC is reassessing that role in order to best help the area it serves. The project team is embarking on a listening campaign around the city of New Haven, speaking with service providers, people experiencing homelessness, local officials and community organizers. PHC will then work with community members to create a project that fills greater needs more efficiently in New Haven!
How to get involved:
Help revive resource connection for those who need it the most.
Members of Project Homeless Connect will be responsible for organizing meetings with local stakeholders about the future of PHC and reporting their findings at biweekly team meetings. Time commitment can vary, but team members can expect an average of 1-2 hours per week.
