Our board projects address homelessness on an institutional level, through advocacy, fundraising, research, and partnerships with a number of outstanding organizations throughout New Haven.
Abraham’s Tent – Through Abraham’s Tent, Yale students help provide temporary shelter for the homeless.
Advocacy – Our advocacy team fights for smarter homelessness policies in our city and state.
Clothing Connection – We collect new and gently used clothing through a variety of programs.
Fundraising – The fundraising project supports a range of homelessness projects.
Workshops – The workshops project connects Yale’s student groups and communities to nearby homeless shelters to teach practical skills as well as share interests and hobbies.
Project Homeless Connect – The PHC initiative is working to bring Project Homeless Connect to the New Haven area.
YHHAP Fast – The YHHAP Fast raises over $10,000 per semester, and has been running every year since 1974.
